Scientific Calculator
Trig, logs, powers, roots, factorial, and constants. Toggle degrees/radians.
0
Numeric scientific calculator: trig, logs, powers, roots, factorial. It evaluates expressions; it does not show algebraic steps and is not a graphing CAS.
Formula
Uses JavaScript Math for sin, cos, tan, log, ln, powers, and roots. Trig is in radians unless the page is set to degrees.
How to calculate
- Set degrees or radians before trig.
- Enter the expression or tap the keys.
- Factorial n! is defined for non-negative integers on this page.
Example
sin(30°) = 0.5 when the calculator is in degree mode. In radians, sin(30) is sin(30 rad), not 0.5.
Common mistake
Degree/radian mode is the usual source of “wrong” trig. This is not Photomath: it will not rearrange a symbolic equation.
FAQ
Is this an engineering or scientific calculator?
It covers standard scientific functions (trig, logs, powers). It is not a CAS and does not show algebraic steps.
Does it graph functions?
No. Graphing and symbolic algebra are out of scope on this site.
